Join us for GLOBAL STRIDES 5K RACE on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at 9:00 AM!
On-site race-day registration and packet pickup are open from 7:45 AM to 8:45 AM.
Awards to the top 3 overall runners, plus the top master runner (age 50+) and youth
runner (age 15 and under) in each gender. All participants receive a race T-shirt and
post-race refreshments after the race in the nearby Bluemont Park picnic pavilion.

REACH for Uganda is committed to creating healthy, educated, and hope-filled communities in rural eastern Uganda. Our cohesive programs function as building blocks that give both our students and these communities their best chances for sustainable successes.

Global Strides 5K is a five kilometer (3.1 mile) race held on a USATF-certified course on Arlington County parkland. The course is a mostly flat, out-and-back route held on the W&OD and Four Mile Run trails. The race starts near the south parking area in Bluemont Park, 329 North Manchester Street, Arlington VA
More nearby parking is at Ashlawn School, 5950 8th Rd North, a short walk to Bluemont Park and the Four Mile Run Trail.
A shorter, children’s race will also be held for participants age 10 and under.
Chip timing is provided for participants in the 5K event only.
