Race notes
The weather cleared up nicely for us, rain completely stopped about 30 minutes prior to race start. Paddlers enjoyed some challenging sections with 7-10mph winds. 2 mile racers circumnavigated Lake Mizell counter clockwise, while Distance Progression racers circumnavigated Lake Virginia counter clockwise, then an extra leg down the western shoreline to make 3.3mi.
