How to get there

Registration is online at http://www.fabian4.co.uk/default.aspx?EventID=1372 .
All runners to check in and collect their numbers by 13:00 so that we can transfer any late changes to the timing system and account for any absentees
The Start/Finish
The Half Marathon starts on the field at 2.00pm. It is a mass start but you are requested to go to the designated area which is based on the time you expect to finish the race in.. The 6k will be a wave start that will also start from the field First wave at 2:15 then at 1 minute intervals
Wave 1. MS and M40
Wave 2. M50,M60
Wave 3 FS
Wave 4 F40
Wave 5 F50 and F60
Wave 6 all 2 dogs(M and F)
Wave 7 non dog runners and all U18
Please assemble at your start point at least 10 minutes prior to start time Late starts get their wave_start time
Footwear
This is a multi-terrain race Parts of the course may be slippery and muddy
Safety & First Aid
Give your dog/s room at the start
When overtaking warn the person in front and state “on your right/left”
Both races have wide trails with plenty of opportunity for passing (a few narrow sections on the Fun Run)
Canicross equipment must be used (belt,line,harness) No dogs on collar and lead or flexi leads No dogs to run off lead
Keep dogs on a lead at all times, no loose dogs please
Dogs must be 18 months old to run the Half Marathon and 12 months old to run the Fun Run
We have also arranged for a vet to be on call
Cut Off Time
The course will be closed after 17.30
Take 2 Event Photography
Prizes
Results will be as soon as possible after the race. We cannot post out prizes after the event
Prizes as follows:
Finisher medals and goodie bags for ALL
Trophy for overall winner (and for best opposite sex) of the Half Marathon
Both races have rosettes 1st,2nd,3rd in Male and 1st,2nd,3rd Female classes in the categories of
