Welcome to the 2022 Warrnambool Athletics Club Winter Series! It is fantastic to be back and we can't wait to see you.

Race 1 is this Sunday, 20th March, at the Warrnambool Go-Kart Club, Buckley's Road, Allansford, starting at 9am. This race is brought to you by one of our long time sponsors, Macey's Bistro, and is a 5km sealed handicap. A sealed handicap means that the race is still handicapped but everyone starts together. No one will know who the winner is until everyone has finished, encouraging everyone to push themselves right to the finish line. The course is out and back and will start with a lap of the track. You will then exit the track and turn right, following the road towards the clifftops where you will have a scenic run along the walking track before turning around.

A junior 1km race will start at 8:45am and will consist of a lap of the track.

Registrations are from 8:30am and will close at 8:50am. Race briefing is at 8:50am with the race starting at 9am.

Fantastic spot prizes to win for members who are in attendance, so if you haven't joined for 2022 click here to not miss out!

To add to the fun, we will be having a relay race in teams of 4 to conclude the event. Laps of the track will be completed by each team member to determine the fastest team. Stay around after the race to join in on the fun!
