Important Information

Start Line: Deep Water Point Mount Pleasant

Racer Check-In Open 07.00am
Racer Check-In Close 08.15am
Briefing/Welcome 08.15-8.30am
First Wave 08.40am
Presentations 12.00pm, or earlier if possible

Please be aware that there will be NO portage at Point Walter this year due to boat damage in previous years. It is compulsory to paddle around the sandbank (not an optional portage).

Some classes have been combined due to insufficient entries to make up one (e.g. Open K2/S2).

First Aid posts will be located at Point Walter, and at the finish line at Gilbert Fraser Reserve.

There will be a Dash for Cash with two $300 prizes kindly donated by Royal Life Saving WA, given to the first male and female single craft past the Canning Hwy bridge. To qualify for the prize, you must:
Finish the 13km course
Be in a single craft (K1, S1, LP etc.)
Attend the presentations

Buoyancy Aid: All competitors are encouraged to have and wear a lifejacket. All canoes should have positive buoyancy in the case of capsize.
