Welcome to Regatta #1 PaddleWA Sprint Series


This event is Long Distance Sprints to be held at Ascot Kayak Club, Fauntleroy Avenue, Ascot 

Race

Lap Format: Racers will paddle laps of a 700m circuit in the river in front of the club. U10 & U12: 1 lap, U14 & U16: 2 laps, Open: 4 laps. 



Craft Categories: K1, K2, or any other craft (Ski, Kayak over 5.2m or Double Craft over 6.5m). 

 



Age Categories: Guppies, U14/U16, U18/Open, Masters

 Age Rule: Age is taken at 01/01/2018 



Gender Classes: Male and Female singles, and Male/Female/Mixed doubles

 



Race-day Schedule: 

Competitor sign-on: 6.30am to 7.00am

 

Race Briefing : 7.15am 

Race Start for single paddler craft: 7.30am for first grid,
Other grids at 1 [ONE] minute intervals after.
Race start for double paddler craft ASAP after the K1 racing.

 



Tell anyone who has not entered, entries on the day will be permitted BUT come early and bring cash Entry Fees: U10, U12, U14 $10.50, U16 and Open $18.50 




 
U10, U12, U14 must wear PFD
