PFD and Helmet are compulsory for Sunday’s race
NO PFD NO HELMET – NO START

• No Parking on Katrine Bridge and be sure not to block other cars. If a car is found to be parked on Katrine Bridge it will cause the competitor associated with that car to receive a time penalty.

• There will be six grids, with 5 minutes intervals between grids.

• Keep hydrated over the 30 km paddle and remember to Slip-Slop-Slap

• Please be careful entering the water

• There will be spotters at Glen Avon and Extracts if you need help, can you please make sure you call out your number to the spotters to make their jobs easier

• Glen Avon is not a compulsory portage but if you have any doubts at all please portage

• Extracts is a compulsory portage for all craft – no exceptions

• Please be aware of all obstacles – trees, rocks and water current

• If you see someone in need of help you must render assistance.

• There will be a sweep safety craft following from behind

• Prizes are randomly drawn for this event
