Start Lists Ramon Challenge Sun 12th

Thank you for entering our LiveLighter Ramon Challenge race this Sunday. Formerly known as the Paddle Challenge, this race has been renamed in honour of one of WA's paddling greats, Ramon Andersson. Please find all information about the event below, with the course maps and briefing attached.

LiveLighter Ramon Challenge
AP Hinds Reserve, Bayswater
Check in: 7.00-7.45am
Briefing: 7.45
Race start: 8.15am
Presentations: 11.00pm (or earlier if all have finished)
Your race bibs will be your food voucher to receive a burger after the race.
Important: Write your Wave Number on your wrist

Grids
Grid 1- 8.15am: 18km K2’s, S2’s & K1’s 
Grid 2- 8.17am: 18km S1’s Grid 2 8.17am 
Grid 3- 8.20am: 18km Plastics; SUP’s; All O/C’s; VA’s; WWK1 
Grid 4- 8.23am: 11km All craft 
Grid 5- 8.25am: 6km & 3.5km All craft

Important Notes
High Tide: This may occur and make the footbridge at Ascot Waters too low to paddle under. Changes to the course may be required and will be explained at the racer briefing.

COVID-19
Paddle WA recommends that all competitors follow social distancing measures closely due to the large number of people in attendance. We will also provide hand sanitiser, antibacterial wipes, and disinfectant spray for anybody to use before or after the race. If you are feeling unwell or display any COVID-19 symptoms, do not attend this race.
