Poznámky k závodu
3/6 hour enduro shortened to 2/4 hour enduro due to weather conditions. First up, my apologies for the initial errors in some team and solo times and lap scores. Thanks to my trusty backup system known as Anna we now have virtually all the glitches sorted out.
Magical muddy mayhem in Marlborough. A great ride from defending team champions father and son Ken and Richard Anderson, still the team to beat wet or dry. Special mention to the primary school teams from Tua Marina and Rapaura schools, we hope to see you with all your mates as the cyclocross season gets underway next month. A huge vote of thanks to Marlborough District Council for their tracks and support, to our volunteers from Rarangi Surf Lifesaving Club who marshalled the course and to Marlborough Mountainbike Club for the loan of signage and equipment. Lastly, a huge thanks to the 90 hardy (and muddy) individuals who finished the day about 5 kilos heavier due to mud accumulation but still had mile wide smiles on.
