8.15 Paddle Volunteer Briefing
8.30 am Registration Closes
8.40 am Other Volunteer Briefing
8.45 am Event Briefing at Event HQ – All participants must attend
9.00 am (approx..) Event start
Water Safety:
All paddlers must have paddling helmets [not bike helmets] and life jackets
MTB:
The course and the event insurance is for mountain bikes, not alternatives
Park Pass:
Park Pass: Buy at gate [$15.00] or online at: DPAW Passes
Camping Fees:
START / TRANSITION / FINISH for 2024 all at CHUDITCH campsite. NO ONLINE BOOKINGS, will collect camp fees (with discount) on weekend. Note no fires at Chuditch to protect fauna, big communal kitchen area.
Directions & Parking:
Important use Nanga Rd route [turn left after Dwellingup] turn left to Nanga Mill turn-off signs to Chuditch. Just short of Chuditch, there is a sing to the right to “River Access”, take it and park on the road beyond the open barrier [see map]. Walk up to Transition from there.
Drinking Water:
In an attempt to minimise single-use plastic, 2024 Nanga will have limited bottles of water in the drinks esky and a bulk water dispenser and ice. Please bring your water bottle and use it.
