AGE is the combined age of the TEAM

The entire race course consists of 2 miles of stand up paddling and a 4 mile run. There are 3 exchanges and 4 legs on the course. The race is a two-person team event with two categories to choose from and each category has two separate divisions. You MUST register with another team member.

Category 1: SUP OR RUN - One team member paddles the entire SUP course while the other team member runs the entire run course. In this category the SUP’er paddles 4 miles and the runner runs 8 miles. The person paddling meets the person running at Exchange Point 1. Tag each other and proceed to Exchange Point 2. Tag again and proceed to Exchange Point 3 Tag again and proceed to the Finish Line. Both team members must finish together!

Team member #1 will SUP leg 1 thru 4.
Team member #2 will run leg 1 thru 4.
Leg 1 and 2 are the same route but in the opposite direction
Leg 3 and 4 are the same route but in the opposite direction
Both team members must finish together!

Category 2: SUP N RUN - is a 2 mile paddle and a 4 mile run for each team member. While one team member paddles the other team member runs. Both team members meet at designated exchange points where they switch roles. The person who was paddling will now run and the person who was running will now paddle.

Team member #1 will SUP leg 1, run leg 2, SUP leg 3, run leg 4.
Team member #2 will run leg 1, SUP leg 2, run leg 3, SUP leg 4.
Leg 1 and 2 are the same route but in the opposite direction
Leg 3 and 4 are the same route but in the opposite direction
Both team members must finish together!


TEAM DIVISIONS AND AWARDS

Team divisions are determined by the combined age of the 2 team members. Awards will be presented to the top 3 team finishers in the following categories and all finishers will receive a custom finisher medal:

Race Board under 40
Race Board 40-75
Race Board over 75
