Welcome to the Grand Mesa Summit Challenge! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY- All Classes include racing for both Saturday and Sunday. Total times are a combined times for both race days. Grand Mesa Summit challenge is both ISDRA and IFSS sanctioned and has a purse of $3,000 for the race.
FOR ALL TEAMS:
Teams must do a positive check in Friday 1/23/2026 prior to racing on Saturday. A positive check in, involves bib assignment and a short vet check.
Checks starts at 1:00 pm Friday 1/23/2026. If you are not able to make it Friday evening, you will have to complete check in Saturday before drivers meeting at 8am.
Requirements for all vaccinations can be found on the ISDRA and the IFSS website. Acceptable vet Records include current Self administered vaccines & deworming schedule with the bar code/date. Rabies will only be accepted administered by veterinarian. NO vaccines will be administered at RACE SITE . If you want to pre-submit forms or records to expedite vet check in please send to jackalopevet@gmail.com.
Please also note on your registration your experience level. If you enter PRO asses you are an advanced musher, with experience passing or have competed in several races. If you enter SPORT classes you are a novice musher, with little passing experience or you want to be in a less competive class.
RMSDC will also be honoring the spirit of the working dog by offering Registered Northern Breed (RNB) for 8-10 dog, 6 dog,and 4 dog classes! If you fall into this catigory, please note that in your registration. After you register, the Registered Northern Breed Official will email you an additional required RNB form which must be completed and emailed back BY 1/21/26.
All other participants who are not RNB please choose All Breed on your registration. We love to see and welcome dogs of all different breeds to this event. The heart of a sled dog comes in many different shapes and sizes!
