ENTRY INFORMATION
🗓 Entries close: Saturday, August 16, 2025 - Late fees apply for entries received after this date.
💡 IMPORTANT: To avoid additional fees, enter "CASH" in the discount code box throughout the entry form. Once completed, please direct deposit fees into the Running West Back account (details below.)
RACE INFORMATION
Please note that all times are approximate and will be confirmed either closer to the event and/or on the day.
Additional information can be found in the pre-race information on the event page, and your race pack, which you will receive once entries close.
Bib Collection: Saturday, August 23, at the Drivers' Meeting, 6:00 am
Compulsory Drivers Meetings: Saturday 23rd at 6:00 am, and Sunday 24 at 6:15 am.
Racing Starts: Saturday, August 23 at 6.40 am with RIG classes out first. This will be followed by bikejor, 2-dog, 1-dog, touring classes and pee wee.
Vaccination Requirement: As per the AFSS Vaccination Framework. Bring vaccination certificates or compliant titre tests. Spot checks will be conducted as per AFSS rules.
ON-SITE FACILITIES
🚻 Limited campsite facilities: Portaloos will be provided
💧 Water: BYO water for yourself and your dogs
🔥 Fires: Communal fire. Please bring wood if you can. RW to provide an update on the use of personal fires once final documentation has come through
♻ Leave no trace: Clean up after your dogs to help preserve future access

4 & 3 Dog Open - approximately 5-6 km
1 Dog Bike Open - approximately 4-5 km
2 Dog Open - approximately 4-5 km
1 Dog Open - approximately 3-4 km
2 Dog Touring & Veterans - approximately 2-2.5 kms
1 Dog Touring, Veterans, Juniors, and Novice - approximately 2-2.5 km
1 Dog Canicross Open - 3 km
Pee Wee's – TBA, each day
(Minimum dog age for veterans is 7 years.)
EVENT SCHEDULE
Friday 22nd of August
Arrive from 3 pm. Please see RW before setting up your camp for instructions.
Saturday 23rd August:
6.00 am - Drivers' Meeting
6.30 am – Rig Class Start
Followed by open classes and then touring classes. There will be 10 minutes between classes. Please be ready, and on time.
3.00 pm – Social Activity
3.30 pm – Afternoon Tea
5.00 pm - Auction
Sunday 24th August
6.00 am - Drivers' Meeting
6.30 am – Rig Classes Start
Followed by open classes and then touring classes. There will be 10 minutes between classes. Please be ready, and on time.
10.30 am – Presentations
11.00 am – Pack and leave. Please assist RW with their pack up too.
Mandatory Equipment
Ensure your gear is race-ready and safe:
Rig, scooter, or bike (per class)
Sound ganglines lines
Effective brakes
Undamaged wheels
Functional lights (lights will be needed for most open classes)
Line cutters
All racing is conducted under AFSS rules and policies.
Please note AFSS does not permit the use of muzzles while racing.
