Welcome to the Phat Night Thursday series 2021, a fun series of night rides based at Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park.

The 3rd (and final) Phat Night for 2021 on Thursday June 24th registration is at ZIGGY hub - parking is best at Kaiteriteri Beach and bike up Martin Farm Road. Registration is from 5.30 - please pre-register online as it makes my life so much easier!

There are 3 options for this Phat Night

Option 1: This is the long course - start at 6.30pm. Go up Huff Puff - Tank - reverse Skullduggery back down Big Ups - up Jaws in reverse - down corkscrew - down cheeky weka.

Option 2: This is short course - start at 6.30pm. Go up ziggy - up jaws in reverse - down corkscrew - down cheeky weka.

Option 3 Start at your leisure once you have registered Do either the short or long course. This is the only opportunity you will have to night ride jaws backwards.

Decide which option on the night - make sure you pre-register.

Afterwards we will have Burger and beers at Kai ($15) - there will be some cool spot prizes - including a gloworm LED light set.

This is a fun night race series, while it is a race, it is fun and very social. If you are new to night racing this is a great place to start.

E-bikes welcome.

Registration is from 5.45pm. Race start 6.30. Cost $10, pay cash on the night.
Burger and Beer (or soft drink) for $15 afterwards at Kai.

** if you have friends thinking of riding, please get them to register beforehand, even if they are not 100% sure - it's so much simpler for our volunteers if details are already in the system rather than for them to enter riders who turn up on the night. **
