The Bogus Basin Community Race Series provides a opportunity for nordic skiers, fat bikers, trail runners, and mountain bikers in the Treasure Valley of all ages and abilities to race in a friendly and inviting atmosphere, whether they’re professional or first-time athletes.

With a lack of other local racing opportunities that cater to all levels, the Community Race Series fills a void in the Treasure Valley and seeks to provide opportunities for those who might not otherwise feel comfortable or interested in ski, bike, or running races.

While more experienced racers will benefit from the unique training opportunity that competition provides, novice racers can feel comfortable to navigate the courses at their own pace and enjoy the scenery of Bogus Basin as well as the community that events like this build.

These family-friendly and fun events have the chance to make a real positive impact on the lives of athletes in the Treasure Valley. With the success of the first Summer Community Race Series, interest and participation will only build going forward.

The Bogus Basin Community Race Series has the potential to grow into an event that Treasure Valley residents look forward to year-round and that local businesses have the chance to prosper from as well.

Both cost and time commitment are low, making the events accessible to working families with responsibilities to get home to. By emphasizing sportsmanship, fun, and community enhancement, the Community Race Series will make Boise a destination for athletes and utilize the vast network of trails at Bogus Basin.
