Entry Information

  • 🗓 Entries close: Friday 20th June 2025 - Late fees apply for entries received after this date. 

Changes to entries can be made up until Friday the 27th of June, at 4pm.

  • 💡 IMPORTANT: To avoid additional fees, enter "CASH" in uppercase in the discount code box throughout the entry form.

 

Race Information

  • 📍 Bib Collection: Friday 27th June 4:00 to 6:00pm
  • 📣 Compulsory Drivers Meetings: Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th June at 6:00am sharp
  • 🏁 Racing Starts: Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th June at 7:00am

Final start times will be confirmed at the drivers meetings.

  • 💉 Vaccination Requirement: All dogs, whether racing or not, must be vaccinated to a minimum of C3.

Bring vaccination certificates or compliant titre tests. Spot checks will be conducted as per AFSS rules.

 
On-Site Facilities

  • Funky Brew: The Funky Brew Coffee Van will be on-site Saturday and Sunday morning
  • 🚻 Limited campsite facilities: Drop toilet and portaloos will be provided
  • 💧 Water: BYO water for yourself and your dogs
  • 🔥 Fires: Fires must be contianed in drums or firepits only
  • Leave no trace: Clean up after your dogs to help preserve future access

  • 8 & 6 Dog Open - 6.0km
  • 4 & 3 Dog Open - 5.0km
  • 2 Dog Open & 1 Dog Bikejoring Open - 4.5km
  • 1 Dog Open - 3.4km
  • 2 Dog Touring & Veterans - 2.4km
  • 1 Dog Touring, Veterans, & Juniors - 2.4km
  • 1 Dog Canicross Open - 2.4km
  • Pee Wee's – Saturday only, after racing is completed

Distances may be subject to change depending on weather and track conditions.

Minimum dog age for veterans is 7years.

Heat 2 wil be run in reverse order.

 
Race Schedule

Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th

  • 6:00am – Compulsory Drivers Meeting
  • 7:00am – Racing starts

 

  • Pee Wee's – Saturday only, after racing is completed
  • 🏆Award presentation will be held shortly after racing concludes on Sunday, once all times and placings are compiled.

🌍 Join us at 2pm Saturdayfor a captivatingpresentation featuring international Race Marshall, Jennifer Freking! All the way from Manitou Crossing Kennels, Minnesota, she brings expertise, passion, and a global racing perspective.

 

Community

  • 🍗 Roast Dinner: Coast to Coast Catering will be providing a roast dinner on Saturday at 5.30pm followed by dessert. Dinner is pre-order only and can be purchased with your entries.
  • 🎟️ Raffle: Tickets are available with your entries or at the race. The raffle will be drawn after dinner on Saturday evening.
  • 🎤 Auction: An auction will be held on Saturday evening.

Ensure your gear is race-ready and safe:

  • Rig, scooter, or bike (per class)
  • Sound lines
  • Effective brakes
  • Undamaged wheels
  • Functional lights (may be required for rig classes only)
  • Line cutters

 

All racing is conducted under AFSS rules and policies.

By signing below, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms in relation to my participation (and/or that of any minors under my care) in this event, conducted under the rules and guidelines of the Australian Federation of Sleddog Sports (AFSS):

 

1. Acknowledgment and Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in sleddog sports and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury from dogs, terrain hazards, weather conditions, equipment failure, collisions, falls, illness, or death. I acknowledge these risks and voluntarily accept and assume all such risks, whether known or unknown, and whether arising from the negligence of the event holders or otherwise. My participation is entirely voluntary.

2. Release and Waiver of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the event organizers, AFSS, sponsors, landowners, volunteers, committee members, employees, agents, and their heirs or representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action for any injury, illness, death, loss, or damage to person or property that may arise from my participation in this event.

3. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the event holders and associated parties from any claims, actions, suits, damages, costs, expenses, or liabilities, including legal fees, arising from my conduct or participation in the event.

4. Fitness to Participate
I certify that both my dogs and I are in good health and physical condition, free from any ailment, injury, or history that could affect safe participation. I affirm my dogs are adequately trained, not aggressive, and not a danger to others.

5. Responsibility for Dogs and Equipment
I take full responsibility for the welfare, behavior, and control of all dogs in my care, including those belonging to third parties that I may be competing with. I confirm that all dogs are vaccinated in accordance with event requirements and that I carry current documentation for inspection. I further confirm that all my equipment is safe, appropriate, and in good working order.

6. Conduct and Compliance
I agree to conduct myself respectfully and responsibly, ensuring the same from my helpers and dogs. I understand that this event is held in a public area and agree to keep my dogs leashed at all times. I will abide by all rules and regulations set by the AFSS, event organizers, and NSW State Forests. I understand that failure to comply may result in my removal from the event.

7. Medical Treatment
In the event of an injury, I consent to receive basic first aid or emergency medical treatment as deemed necessary. I understand that medical services may not be available onsite.

8. Membership Declaration
By selecting a non-member entry, I declare I am a casual member of the event holder for the duration of the event and agree to the conditions set forth.

9. Spirit of Participation
I agree to participate with the best interests of sleddog sports in mind, promoting safety, sportsmanship, and community engagement. I am here to have fun with my dogs and the sleddog community.
