Come join us for the 6th annual Slack and Field 5K at Woodlawn on November 6th!

This run is a cross-country course open to walkers and runners of all ages! All proceeds go to See the Ability, Inc., a local non-profit organization working on initiatives for inclusive education, employment and housing opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community.

We will have a self-advocate speaker presentation by David Egan, a advocate for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in many arenas, a Special Olympics Global Messenger and an outstanding example of the potential of an individual with an intellectual disability who has worked hard and pushed limits to become independent and influential in his community. He dedicates much of his time to advocating for individuals with intellectual disabilities and we are thrilled to have him at our event!

After David speaks, we will have race awards, wine, delicious eats, music and lawn games for you. Please plan to stay and enjoy the beautiful grounds and great people!
