THE 5K EVENT HAS ALREADY BEEN HELD AS SCHEDULED ON APRIL 9. THE HORSE AND HOUND 1K EVENT WAS POSTPONED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER AND IS NOW OPEN FOR REGISTRATION FOR THE NEW DATE OF MAY 7TH AT 9:00.

The Hare and Hound is fun for all ages. It is like a treasure hunt where participants follow clues in order to stay on course. The approximately 1K course is flat and will go through the woods and participants may get muddy. The course is not suitable for strollers or dogs. Pre-registration is $5.00. Race Day Registration is $10.

Register online here until 11pm the night before race day or send signed form with fee to GNS, 15 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, MD 20770. Make checks payable to GNS. Mail entries should be received by May 6th.

Directions: From the Beltway (495), take exit 23 Kenilworth Avenue, north, towards Greenbelt; Right on Crescent Road; drive approximately 1.4 miles and make a right at the stop sign behind the Greenbelt Library.
Parking is available in the lot behind the library. The event starts and finishes at the Greenbelt Nursery School playground.
