Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver
THIS IS A LIABILITY RELEASE. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCEPTING THE TERMS.
I acknowledge that an individual who participates in the activities of Nordic Skiing, Snowshoeing or
Hiking accepts and assumes the inherent risks of participation in the above activities. I also
acknowledge transportation to and from trailheads involves inherent risks. I have made a voluntary
choice to participate in the above activities sponsored by the Central Oregon Nordic Club. I agree to
assume any and all risks of injury or death (except for those caused by gross negligence or intentional
act), which might be associated with or result from my participation in the above activities. I also hold
harmless the Central Oregon Nordic Club and its agents, tour leaders/coordinators, officers and
instructors.
I have carefully read and understand this release of liability which will legally prevent me or any other
person from filing suit nor making claims for damages in the event of my death or injury.
If I am accepting these terms for a minor, I take all responsibility for medical expenses as a result of
the minor’s participation in Central Oregon Nordic Club sponsored events. In addition, in consideration
for the Central Oregon Nordic Club allowing the minor to participate in these activities, I also agree to
indemnify the Central Oregon Nordic Club and its agents, tour leaders/coordinators, officers and
instructors, as to any claims raised by anyone else on behalf of the minor.
