Manawatu Striders School Road race

This is a free event provided to the community by Manawatu Striders.  

START/FINISH: From the Manawatu Striders clubrooms at Manawaroa Park (near the Esplanade entrance)

DISTANCE: A measured 3km course through the Esplanade  to the He Ra Kotahi Bridge and return (see below)

GRADES: Years 5/6 and Years 7/8 -  separate races for boys and girls. Plus AWD (mixed gender/age)

TEAMS COUNT:  This is primarily a Teams race. Schools can enter up to TWO Teams into each of the grades. Teams comprise up to 4 per grade/gender (3 is OK).   The first three placegetters per team are used to calculate the points for each team (the 4th team member is still important as they are a "displacer").

The overall winners are based on the TEAM points.
