Bridges 2025-INNY 5 km Small Boat Race

Both races start and finish from the Latitude 48 docks located in Village marina at the end of Herald Street behind Value Village. 

THE INNYis a 5 km race in protected waters ideal for new racers, marathon canoes, SUPs and even experience paddlers that want a shorter "sprint" distance. The race goes up the gorge waterway, with a turn just before Tillicum narrows to head back to the start/finish line. 

THE OUTTYis a 12 km race that heads out of the Victoria harbour, past Saxe Point, between Brothers Islands and back. **Course may change depending on conditions on race day. .

SCHEDULE:

8:30 a.m. - racer check-in opens

9:10 a.m. - racer pre-safety briefing for Inny

9:30 a.m. - Inny starts

10:40 a.m. - pre-racer safety briefing for Outty

11:00 a.m. - Outty starts

11:05 a.m. - awards for Inny

1:00 p.m. - awards for Outty

PLEASE NOTE:

• You must check in with registration and attend the pre-race safety meeting in order to race.
• You must have a 2025 Canadian Outrigger Racing Association Membership https://www.canadianoutrigger.ca/store/renew-your-membership/#single For single-day membership chose LAT48-Bridges (October 5 only) as your event.
• You must complete the Latitude 48 waiver if you didn't already fill out for the Bridges OC6 race. 
• A $5 processing fee will be charged on any withdrawals.
