Welcome to round one of the Nelson Mountain Bike Club Downhill series!

 

This will be held on the new DT25 downhill trail that will be used for the National Secondary Schools Championship in October and is a great chance to get some time on the new trail.

 

Entry fee to be paid on the day in cash only: $60 for NMTBC members, $70 for non-members

 

Categories (calculated by age as at 31/12/2025):

U13, U15, U17, U19, Open, Masters 1, Masters 2 (All riders are welcome to race in the Open category)

 

Safety gear requirements: 

As per Cycling NZ equipment rules https://schools.cyclingnewzealand.nz/assets/nz_mtb_technical_regulations_-_version_2-3-12.pdf

Protection rules will be based off age of rider, regardless of the class they are racing in.

 

Riders under the age of 17 must have a responsible adult on site during the course of the day.
