Oak Bay Challenge - 5 km Small Boat Race

The inaugral Oak Bay Challenge consists of two small boat races held one after the other in beautiful Oak Bay. 

Short course:The 5-km course is sheltered waters in Oak Bay (off of Willows Beach) towards Cadboro Bay and back.

Long course:  The 12-km course starts off the tip of Turkey Head and heads out to Enterprise Channel and loops back to Cadboro Bay before finishing at Turkey Head. **Course may change depending on conditions day of the race. 

Race Times:

8:30 a.m. - racer check-in opens

9:10 a.m. - racer safety briefing short course

9:30 a.m. - short course starts

10:40 a.m. - racer safety briefing long course

11:00 a.m. - long course starts

IMPORTANT

You must check in with registration and attend the pre-race safety briefing for your course before you race.

You must have a boat leash and wear an approved PFD.

Please note a $5 processing fee will be charged on any withdrawals.
