King’s Birthday Road Race

Thanks for registering for Napier Harriers Club iconic King's Birthday road race, this year raced over an all new course. 

This is a handicapped event, which means all runners start at different times, with the slower runners in each grade heading off first, while the fastest runner in each grade leaves last. Ideally, and if the handicapper has done their job well, all runners will finish about the same time.

Racing will kick-off at 9am, across the following distances and grades:

• 9am - 1km (Cubs), 4.5km (Social walk). These will not be handicapped
• Starting from 9:15am - 9km (Masters men, Masters women, Senioer men, Senior women, M/W20)
• Starting from 9:30am - 4.5km (All of the grades immediately above, plus B/G16, B/G14)
• Starting from 9:45am - 2km (B/G12)
