DISTANCES
Iron Course -- 33 km
Relay Leg A -- 15 km
Relay Leg B -- 18 km
If you are planning to do the Relay Course, register and pay for your crews separately, but include both crew names when completing the online registration.
That is, if the "Ama Kings" and the "Paddle Princesses" are sharing the 33 km course doing a relay, use both names when you register (Ama Kings / Paddle Princesses) so we can sort out who is racing as relay crews. You can decide among yourselves which crew is doing the longer section.
The direction of the race (clockwise, counterclockwise) will be decided on the morning of the race, conditions depending.
If you have opted to race as a relay team, be advised that you may find out only on the morning of the race which crew is racing first (Leg A or Leg B). Be ok with the spontenaity!
The swap out zone is at Tunstall Beach on the west side of Bowen Island.
You will need to get your second crew to that beach in enough time to meet the first relay team when they arrive.
