BMS SINGLE EVENT License & Insurance 2025

You can only apply for a Single Event License for a specific event.  The license/insurance is not transferable to another event.

License applications are COMPULSORY but Insurance is not.  Should you be in an accident and have no insurance, you will be transported to the nearest Government hospital.

License and/or Insurance applications must be done prior to entering the event.  Do your license and/or Insurance application at least 3 days before registration closes for the event to give sufficient time for processing your application.

Here are steps to follow to complete the license and insurance application for a One Event License:

1. Once done, click on CALCULATE to receive the correct amount payable.  The amount might be wrong if you selected different options first.  VERY IMPORTANT
2. Accept the terms of indemnity and complete the details of the parent/guardian or participant if they are over 18 years of age.
3. SUBMIT REGISTRATION
4. If you have no other participants to add.  Select COMPLETE REGISTRATION
5. You will receive an email with invoices to make payment and banking details.  
6. Insurance Fees are paid directly to Marsh Botswana and BMS License and Processing Fees are paid to BMS or their account facilitator.

Once the process is complete, you will receive a Cover Note from Marsh Botswana (if you applied for insurance) and a BMS One Event License Number.  This information must be provided when you enter the race.
