Ballard Elks Paddle into the New Year Race
Race details
See our Facebook event page and discussion (all particpants must register on Webscorer, RSVP'ing on Facebook is not sufficient to partipate)
The Mandatory Skippers Meeting will be 30 minutes before race start in the parking lot. All paddlers must wear a PFD, and SUPs must use leash. Prone boards are the only exception.
Depending on racer needs, heats may be assigned at the Skippers Meeting and are used to organize the racers into more managable groupings. You choose your heat at check-in, ask the race organizer for more info.
Wave1 - Full race course, typically the faster paddlers and a more competitive experience
Wave2 - Full race course, starting a few minutes after Wave 1
For registration and payment:
We can accept registration and payments on site, up until the start of the "skippers meeting."
Particpants need to register with a free Webscorer account (directions are provided as you follow the prompts below) and check in and sign a liability form at registration before the skippers meeting in-person.
