The Arrowtown Backyard Ultra will start on Saturday 8th November 2025 at 9am and continue until the last person is standing!
2023 went for 50 laps/hours!
2024 went for 45 laps/hours!
How long will 2025 go for?
While the 2025 event is SOLD OUT, you can join the waitlist and we'll send you an invite if/when a spot opens up.
Entry cost: $220 (there is no cost to join the waitlist)
The backyard ultra involves competitors running 6.71km on the hour every hour until the last person is standing. Competitors that don't complete a lap within 1 hour or are not in the starting corral for the start of the next lap are recorded as DNF (Did Not Finish). The winner is the last person to complete a lap when all others have given up.
It's easy until it's not!
