Course: The 5K race starts at 8am and is a USATF certified flat loop course that begins at the Greenbelt SkatePark and ends at the Greenbelt Tennis Courts. Participants run/walk twice around beautiful Greenbelt Lake on a well maintained cinder path. The webscorer timing app will be used for race timing and and results posted online.

The 1K Family Fun Run starts at 9am. It begins and ends at the ball fields across from the tennis courts and
Pre-registration is $5.00. Race Day Registration is $10 (strollers allowed for 1K ONLY). Base running for the li’l tykes is $5 at 9:15 .

Register online here until race day or send signed form with $20.00 to GNS, 15 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, MD 20770. Make checks payable to GNS. Mail entries should be received by April 24th. Race Day Registration is $25.00. Number Pick-up: Friday, April 24th at Greenbelt Nursery School 5-7:00 pm and 7am Saturday, April 25th

Directions: From the Beltway (495), take exit 23 Kenilworth Avenue, north, towards Greenbelt; Right on Crescent Road; drive approximately 1.4 miles and make a right at the stop sign behind the Greenbelt Library.
Parking is available in the lot behind the library. Number pickup is at the nursery school which is adjacent to the playground.

Awards: Top 3 Male and Female Overall and top male and female finisher in the following age groups: under 20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50 and 50 over. Water bottle available for the first 50 registrations and ice packs for all registrants included as part of 5K sign-up. We also have prize for the best COSTUME!

Restrictions: No headphones, dogs, race strollers, or in-line skates for 5K. Strollers permitted for 1K.

Refreshments: Water stop at the midpoint and refreshments after the race served on the playground weather permitting.
