SINGAPORE OCEAN CUP 2024
The Singapore Ocean Cup is Southeast Asia's biggest ocean paddling championship, and the most technically challenging. Set on a course that covers Singapore’s Southern Islands, paddlers will be met with surprising water conditions and currents that will test fitness, steering skills and racing strategy.
Race Details
- Date: 14–15 September 2024
- Venue: Emerald Pavilion, Siloso Beach, Sentosa/Singapore
- Mandatory safety briefing: Friday, 13 September 2024, 7pm (venue to be confirmed)
Online Registration Dates
- Early Bird fees - 15 April 2024 – 5 May 2024
- Regular fees - 6 May 2024 – 4 August 2024
- Late fees - 5 August 2024 – 18 August 2024
There will be NO on-site/on-day registration.
Registration Fees
AGE REQUIREMENTS (as of 31 December 2024)
- OC6 Open/Women/Mix - Age 14
- Single craft short course - Age 14
- Single craft long course - Age 18
*For all paddlers between ages 14 – 18 years: In order to participate, you will be required to have your parent(s)/legal guardian sign the Liability Waiver during on-site registration and produce an ID to verify age.
*Participation of Underage paddlers – subject to Race Committee, with consideration to safety of race participants
Cancellations & Refunds
To cancel your registration, please send email to soc@singaporepaddleclub.com before 31 August 2024.
Full refund will be provided for cancellations before 31 August 2024; subject to SGD20 as an administration fee.
No refunds will be granted after 31 August 2024.
All OC6 & OC2 crews
One crew member to submit registration for the entire crew.
Each crew member will be required to submit an individual online waiver form by 31 August 2024 (form to be sent when registration closes).
Race check-in
Check-in will close 45 minutes before race start.

Race Safety Gear
- It is mandatory to wear a PFD during all races (buoyancy devices to meet ISO12402-5 for pfds incl. inflatable or waist pfds).
- All crafts are required to carry at least one mobile phone and share their live location (as instructed during the race briefing).
- All OC6 will be provided with a safety bag and fitted with life vests, but crews can choose to use their own. Each OC6 needs to carry a spare paddle.
- All small craft race competitors must bring their own PFD, wear a leg leash during the race(s). OC1/2 and V1 must carry a spare paddle
- All competitors must wear the event shirt and cap during the race. If none are provided, all competitors must wear high visibility clothing during the race.
