Welcome to the “hardest XC mountain bike race in North America''. This course was designed to break your spirit. You’ll be lucky to even finish. If you have the skills to survive the ripping fast descents, rock gardens & table tops, you’ll be forced to climb some soul-crushing ascents with multiple hike-a-bikes. Plus there’s a time limit, so don’t take too long catching your breath. Can you survive this Hell?

Profits from this event will be donated to Central Ohio Mountain Bike Organization & benefit the trails at Horns Hill Park. Spread the word because more registrations equal more money to build awesome trails.
HORNS HILL PARK - Newark, Ohio
Horns Hill is the premiere downhill and enduro destination in Ohio. It has a vertical drop of 250 ft on the front side of the hill with challenging descents that range from fast & flowy to rough & technical. The park contains tabletops, gap jumps, kickers, drops, rock gardens & steep descents that will challenge most riders. Beginners can enjoy riding green trails like Greenhorn, Upper Jurassic & Playground Loop. You can learn more about the park on Facebook or Instagram @hornshillmtb or at combomtb.com. AGE RESTRICTIONS
This is NOT a beginner-friendly race. Any racer under the age of 18 must have written consent from their parent or guardian. All racers must have a “race age” of at least 13 years old. “Race age” is the age you turn in the current year.
TIME LIMIT
Your last lap must start prior to 1:40PM
All laps must be finished by 3;00PM or be declared DNF
All E-Bikes must finish by 4:30PM or be declared DNF
Anyone over 1 hr 20 minutes per lap will be pulled from the course.
SAFETY
-This is NOT a beginner-friendly course.
-Preride the downhills on Saturday or Sunday morning to figure out line choice and obstacles that need to be avoided.
-Walk any obstacles that are not within your skill set.
-Gap jumps and high drops are not included in the course and most will be taped off. It is still your responsibility to examine the course and make sure you can ride everything.
-Consider wearing full face helmet & pads - especially if you are prone to taking risks or falling.

Nocterra Brewing will be selling beers & hard seltzers for $5 each. Proceeds from the sales will go towards building and maintaining trails at Horns Hill. Perfect for spectators or post-race athletes. Beers can be enjoyed trailside while you watch the action. XC racers can grab a beer & cheer on the e-bikers after.
AWARDS
Surviving and finishing this race is the greatest reward. We will give amazing cash prizes for each podium. 1st place $5 (Can be used to buy a Nocterra beer or hard seltzer), 2nd place $5 (Also a beer), & 3rd place $1 (Buy your own beer & pedal harder next time). Categories may be combined to have at least 5 racers for each podium category.
WEATHER
The trails at Horns Hill Park handle moisture very well. Light or medium rain will not cancel the event. In the case of extreme weather - heavy rain, high winds, lightning or tornados. Rain date will be April 14 (but unlikely).
