Come and experience an open water swim at Henley Beach.
**Please note: The minimum age for entry is 18 (and your age must be 18 on the actual day of the event being 18 February 2024). **When choosing your "Category" of age group you must select the range you fall in for the age you are on the 31st of December 2024. Not your age on the 18th of February 2024.
Registration will be available online up until 10pm on Friday 16th February.
ONLINE ENTRIES ONLY BY TIME AND DATE ABOVE. THERE WILL BE NO "ON THE DAY" ENTRIES.
The cost is $45 for Masters and Swimming SA members and $50 for non Members.

There will be a 1km and 2km Swim starting at Henley Jetty and heading North in a 1km loop. Prizes awarded for 1st and 2nd place-getters in each event and also random draw prizes.
What you need to know:
Check-in on race day, by the Henley Jetty, opens at 8.30am and closes at 9.30am.
Swimmers briefing commences 9:40am and is mandatory.
Race starts at 10am, with both the 1km and the 2km starting together.
Race Course closes: 11:15am being 1 hour and 15 minutes after the 10am start.

A spirit of friendly competition should be maintained throughout the race. Any un-sportsman like conduct could lead to immediate disqualification. • Decisions of the event officials are final and are not subject to appeal. .
Swim: Swimmers will be required to adhere to Masters Swimming Australia General Rules and Open Water Swim Rules as applicable at the close of entries. No extraneous aids are allowed. Goggles are allowed and recommended. The wearing of heavy jewelry and watches is not allowed due to safety requirements. Wetsuits may be worn, however the wearing of non-approved FINA swim wear and wetsuits will disqualify the swimmer from any awards or points for team awards. Swimmers are required to have an official swim cap issued at registration which must be worn at all times to the finish of the swim.
Water cover is provided by Henley Beach Surf Life Saving Club, providing a safe environment for everyone.
