2023 Echuca Mini Marathon, from Barmah to Echuca (Moama Beach) - CANCELLED DUE TO FLOODING
Each paddler in a crew or team must register.
This event covers part of Day 3 of the MMP course. There are three distance options. Full distance (48km), Relay (48km) or short distance (MMP Checkpoint C (old checkpoint D) to Moama Beach, 18km). The relay has three legs (12km, 18km and 18km).
Full distance and Relay check-in at Jack Edwards Park, Barmah from 6am. Volunteer briefing 6:30am. Competitor briefing 6:45am. First start 7am.
Short course check-in at Checkpoint C (old D) from 9:30am. Competitor briefing 10:15am. First start 10:30am.
The aim is to have all paddlers finishing reasonably close together and off the water by 12:30pm to simplify on-water safety near Echuca (given the presence of power boats and jet skis).

Safety requirements - Wearing an approved PFD is madatory for this event. Paddlers will also need a mobile phone in a waterproof pouch, a pea-less whistle attached to their PFD, an emergency blanket, and a dry bag with a change of warm clothes.
Covid-19 - This event will run under the PV Marathon's Covid-19 Safety Plan, which is available on the Paddle Victoria website. Do not attend if you have symptoms or are unwell.
