The JJ McDermott Long John Jaunt Half Marathon & 10k will take place on Feb 25, 2023 (Storm Date: Feb. 26)
at the Boularderie Elementary School on Kempt Head Rd.

The Long John Jaunt features a half marathon and 10K option through the scenic community of Boularderie. You will see breath taking scenery, and be welcomed by some rolling hills. A post race meal, and hot showers will be available on site.

• EARLY START is 11am. This is designed for runners who expect to be more than 2 1/2 hours on the half.
• 12 noon is the official start time for the Half Marathon and 12:30pm for the 10km race.
• Check in will begin at 10:30am.
• The Cape Breton Food Hub will be providing this years post race meal.
• Showers are available on site.
• School is secure and bags can be left while racing

• Race Day Swag - We are bringing back the wool socks with padded foot bottoms from the Sock guys and every runner will also get a gourmet hot chocolate to go with their Long John custom mug!
