Blacksheep Youth Skills Clinic (Age 7 to 9)



Sunday August 7th, 14th, and 21st from 10:00am - 12:00pm

Target: Any beginner rider who is wanting to transition from pavement to trail, and any beginner mountain biker wanting to learn skills to build confidence on green and blue level trails.

Content: Participants will learn fundamental principles of skills that will allow them to ride green and blue level trails. The skills learned will be a systemic progression:
1) Body Position and Balance
2) Braking
3) Shifting
4) Descending
5) Climbing

Time and group dependent, other skills that may be covered will include:
6) Dynamic Riding
7) Roll downs
8) Wheel lifts (age-dependent)

A maximum of 8 participants per timeslot.
