Relay Style Format Biathlon Race. Racers without a team can race as an individual sprint or form a team at registration.

Novice youth and novice adult race to follow relay races

Age 15 to Adult, 1.5K x 3, PS, 150 M penalty lap, three person teams

Age 14 and Under, 1.5K x 3, PS, 75 M penalty lap, two person teams

Youth and Adult Novice 4.5K total, 1.5 K x 3, PP off Blocks 75M penalty loops

P = Prone shooting, S = Standing shooting

NOTE: There will be NO same day registration. Payment due at registration race day.
Relay race is for USBA "Red Book" safety certified biathletes and youth in a USBA biathlon program. U15 and U13 biathletes will not be carrying a rifle.

Novice racers will be given safety and shooting instruction prior to the race. Biathlon rifles and ammunition will be provided for the Novice Race.

$15 for Youth under 21, (minimum age of 10 to participate)
$25 Adults over 21
$20 USBA Daily Membership (novice race additional fee)

A "Competitor" level annual USBA membership or USBA "member for a day ($20)" is required to cover race liability insurance.

WI Biathlon and Blackhawk Biathlon welcome the participation of Adaptive Athletes! Please sign up as appropriate to your age and contact Mark via email prior to starting the race concerning your distance and categorization preferences.

IMPORTANT:

Bring exact cash or check for payment to event payable to Blackhawk Ski Club. Parent must accept waiver for minors.

If you require USBA "Membership For a Day" for this event, please purchase online with the USBA prior to the race. Do not show up to this race without some form of USBA race membership.
