Queens Head Hotel Seven Mile Beach Triathlon Race 1



Why: WQE for Australian Age Group Triathlon Championships in 2022, Armstrong Insurance Brokers State Series Triathlon 2nd Race, and Triathlon South’s Club Triathlete of the Year

When: Sat 15 January 2022 - Racing at 10 am

Where: Day Use Area 2 at Surf Road, Seven Mile Beach,

Entries close at 8pm night before the race. Entries upto 8 am on race day add $20 late fee.

Distances
Short Course: 300m|7km|2km (age rules apply 12 yo & up can compete solo or as part of a team)
Sprint: 750m|20km|5km (age rules apply 13 yo can only compete as part of a team, 14 yo & up can enter as a solo or as part of a team)

Age categories
Note: Age as at 31st of December 2022 for this season.

Youth (12-14) - Youth and Juniors are only eligible for points/prize money in the Short Course race

Veteran (40-49)
Super Veteran (50+)
Teams: All open in one category

The Race Day Lowdown
Race start Sprint 10am (Short Course 5min later for safety reasons)
Registration & Transition opens at 8:30am & closes at 9:30am
Race Brief 9:30am
Presentations Approx. Noon

Entry fees
Triathlon South Members Sprint $65 & Short Course $55 (INCLUDES Member discount of $15 using discount code)
Triathlon Australia Members Sprint $75 & Short Course $65
Non-Members of Triathlon Australia Sprint $95 & Short Course $85 (INCLUDES $20.00 fee for One Day Licence)
Teams Sprint $95 & Short Course $85 (INCLUDES $20.00 fee for One Day Licence)
Juniors Sprint $40 & Short Course $35 (Add $20 if non Tri Aust member & take off $15 if Triathlon South member)

Note team entry has changed! The first team member needs to register the team name and pay for the event. You must choose the team option in the “distance AND category” when entering. Please enter all members names and ensure each member agrees to the waiver in the correct place.
