Event notes
This is race 2 of the EASI East Anglian SUP Initiative 2021/22 winter race series, being hosted by Frangipani SUP at the Trifarm swimming lake, Church Road, Boreham, Essex CM3 3EJ.
It is a technical race - which means it is less distance than race 1 in Norfolk but you paddle more laps and make plenty of buoy turns. The course will be finalised and advised the week before the race.
Provisional timings:
Gates open 9am
Registration 9-10am
Race/safety briefing lakeside 10.15am
First start 10:45am
Prizegiving 12:45pm
Close 1pm
Portaloo and changing cabin on site. Prizegiving will be outdoors. This is a rural site and surfaces are uneven and can be very slippery, so please take care as you walk around - and please watch out for vehicles and others on the road, which crosses the site. Dogs must be kept on leads. Thank you.
You will be required to complete a physical readiness questionnaire on registration. All competitors must be able to swim, must wear footwear to the lake's edge and must wear a leash. We recommend that you wear a personal buoyancy aid.
You participate in this event at your own risk. Thank you!

Futher details can be found on the facebook event page.
