The Red River Paddle Challenge is a 44 kilometer (~27 miles) long distance paddling race on the Red River beginning in Winnipeg, Manitoba and ending down river in Lockport, Manitoba. We welcome all types of paddling craft, including kayaks, canoes, surfskis, outrigger canoes, stand up paddleboards, or other craft. Basically our motto is if you can paddle it you can race it! If you don’t see your preferred boat/board class listed here, please contact us.

If you are signing up in either the Tandem or Relay category:
Please enter a Team name. If you do not see your team name in the current list, select Other and then enter your team name. Be creative and have fun with your team name. Each paddler is also required to register for the event. Solo paddlers are not required to provide a team name, but may do so if desired.

We also offer a relay category, which is intended for those who are not quite ready to take on the full distance of the Red River Paddle Challenge, but still want to get out and paddle in the event.

All participants are required to be familiar with the event rules. Any questions, please ask.
