Welcome to the 2021 Performance Physio Club to Club



Townsville Open Water Swimming Association welcomes you to our events. Each year we continue to strive to bring you some great open water swimming events. We look forward to seeing you at our second event for 2021 - The Performance Physio Club to Club swim. Please share and encourage others to take part in this fun and exciting event.

It is important that all participants read and acknowledge the WAIVER, RELEASE & INDEMNITY as well as the COVID-19 TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY AND ATTENDANCE AT EVENTS. Due to COVID guidelines no entries will be accepted on the day.

We will be offering 1km and 2km distances for this event with both distances starting at 7am, The 2km event will start and finish adjacent to the Rock pool with competitors swimming down to Strand Park beach and back. The 1km event will start at the Strand Park Beach and will finish adjacent to the Rockpool. Timing chips will be used to time your event. Please arrive 45mins prior to the event to check in and observe social distancing rules.

When you are marked present on the day you will receive a timing chip and cap. More information will be available on the Facebook page closer to race day.

TOWSA will also provide water safety for the event.

TOWSA ask the you please follow COVID safe instructions on the day and limit the number of spectators to the event.

Once you have finished your event, TOWSA ask that you limit congregating at the event.
