Happy Australia Day!!
This event is a SWIM-RUN event!

It kicks off with a swim outside the Surf Club at Ulverstone, followed by a quick change into running shoes and a run through the park and back to the surf club.

Event Start Time: 11am
Pre Race Brief: 1045am

We have several distances:
Try Stars Aged 7-9 years 100m swim wade/1km run (free entry)
Try Stars Aged 10-12 years 200m swim wade/2km run (free entry)
Enticer Ages 12+ 400m swim/2km run ($20 non members)
Sprint Ages 14+ 700m swim/5km run ($35 non members)
Or form a TEAM with your bestie.
We also have a TEAM option for parent/child to enter Try Star together if your child is not confident entering the water by themselves.
When entering as a TEAM : scroll down the categories to find TEAM ONLY Enticer or TEAM ONLY Sprint or Parent with Try Star Team. (*please note the kids are developing confidence so it's not a race, it's fun).

The distances are approximate to the length of run track and the distances of the buoys placed in the water.

What to bring:
goggles, swim cap, swim suit, running shoes, wetsuit (optional), towel, change of clothes, a good attitude, support for each other and a smile to cross the finish line.
Make sure your gear is labelled, we get lots of lost property.
We'll be timing this event and will announce the winners of the main categories after the last person finishes.
We'll give some random prize draws to race numbers - you need to be entered to be eligible.

**Please note, the Ulverstone Surf Club have their annual Australia Day Community Festivities from midday at the Beach/Surf Club. If you would like to attend this free event, please register yourself at the Surf Club check in for covid tracing purposes.** It will be lots of fun!
