Event notes
The ILT New Year Track Carnival will take place from Friday 29 January to Saturday 30 January at the SIT ZeroFees Velodrome.
The provisional programme can be viewed by following the link below:
All participating riders need to hold a valid Cycling New Zealand racing licence.
The entry fee is $20 per day, which includes entry to all events in a rider's category. However, riding all events is not compulsory, and a rider can scratch from events if required. The entry fee remains the same though.
Racing will take place in age categories for riders U13, U15, and U17, while riders in the Open category (U19, Elite, Masters) have to select which grade they wish to race in - A, B, or C. Please note that the organisers reserve the right to adjust the grade in which a rider will race in order to promote fair and competitive racing - this may occur prior to the start of the event, or during the course of the event if required.
Payment via online funds transfer to the Cycling Southland bank account - 031742001458800 - with reference 'Carnival' - $20 per day, or $40 for both days. Payment needs to be received prior to the start of racing.
The event is open to licensed riders from other centres.
