COLES BEACH DUATHLON 2020
Welcome to one of our most popular events. The Duathlon is a run/bike/run event.
We have three categories - TRY STARS/ENTICER/SPRINT.
We have a team entry for the SPRINT distance only (5km run/20km ride.2.5km run)
The run starts at the Western End of Coles Beach, at the Coles Beach Link Road so please don't go to the Surf Club end.
Check In: Commences 0700
Pre Race Briefing 0745
Race Start: Try Stars 0800
Enticer and Sprint Race Start 0900 or when try stars are OFF the race course
Distances
7-9 years: 500m/2.5/500m
10-12 years: 1km/5/1km
12+ Enticer: 2.5km/10km/1km
14+ Sprint: 5km/20km/2.5km (individual/team)
What to bring
Running shoes, socks, tri suit or lycra to run/cycle in, sunscreen, glasses, socks, hydration, snacks, run hat,
Cycle shoes, helmet, bike, bike hydration, bike computer of sorts to chart your distance or laps, a willing attitude and a smile at the finish. Please name your gear, our lost property box is always full.
We have changed the Sprint distance back to 8 laps which brings the distance just under the 20km. You will not remember how many laps you have done. Your bike computer should read appoximately 19.8km.
Parking/Toilets
At The Coles Beach Car Park. Coles Beach Road will be closed to traffic at 0740am so you cannot access the car park via the road, you need to enter via the link road.

**There are road works at the William St End of Coles Beach and the road may be closed to traffic at the time of this event. Entry to the event will be via the Coles Beach Link Road**
