Explore the trails of Ponderosa State Park while raising money for Roots Forest School!

WHAT: Run, hike, or bike as many of Ponderosa State Park’s main trails as you can during the event, using the STRAVA app to record your progress.

WHEN: July 17th-August 17th

WHERE: Ponderosa State Park – Trail map on our website.

COST:

$25 Individual Entry: For those that want to get out on their own
$50 Family Entry: For Families that want to get out and explore the trails together

To Join the Challenge:

1. Register and pay to join the trail challenge
2. Set up or sign into your Strava account.
3. Join the Roots Forest School Trail Club at https://tinyurl.com/RootsTrailChallenge
4. Authorize us to view all of your activities–we’ll only view activities from July 17 to August 17. You must have a Strava account and record all of your relevant activities as public activities (ensure your profile is not set to private).

PRIZE DETAILS
Prize drawings will be held for:

- All individuals who complete all trails
- All families who complete all trails
- All individuals or families who complete at least four of the 6 trails

BONUS: All children 12 and under who complete at least 2 trails will receive a certificate for a free ice cream cone from one of McCall’s favorite ice cream spots!

After the conclusion of the event on August 17th, drawings will be held for prizes in each category above. Winners will be notified via email and prizes will be sent via postal mail.
