This is a virtual event, created on account of the 2020 Covid-19 Alert Level 3 restrictions on paddling activities at Arawa canoe Club.

It is free to enter, there are no prizes - what you get is an excuse to get out of the house, blow out the cobwebs and challenge yourself to achieve bragging rights in your gender, age group and kayak class.

You can complete the course as many times as you like, on any tide and register your time to benchmark your self with others in the club.

The race is open until the end of May - hopefully Level 3 won't last that long, but we want you to have plenty of opportunity to get out there and paddle hard.

The Course
Start at Arawa Canoe Club. Start/Finish line = The south end of the pontoon.
Paddle downstream to your selected turn point (bridge) and return to the club

Timing
Use your own stopwatch or GPS to record your own time. Email your name and finish time to acctimer@gmail.com
