2020 National Canoe Marathon Champs over two days, 28 -29 March

Summary of Event

Waitemata Canoe & Multi-sport Club will be hosting the 2020 National Canoe Marathon Champs on the 28th & 29th March 2020.
Paddlers from around NZ will convene at the Taipari Strand to compete to see who the faster marathon paddler in their age groups is.
Competitors will range in age from 10yrs old right through to 70+
Individual Races will be on Saturday and the team boats will be racing on Sunday. Distances will vary from 5km right through to 28km’s and in most cases will include a portage off the water onto land then back onto the water.
Team Boat Entries are free for those who have competed as an individual on the Saturday, for all other paddlers that do not plan to compete as an individual an entry fee of $30 will be payable.
