The 7th Annual Story County Freedom Run will take place Saturday, June 20! The race will be the official kick off of the RUN Nevada Race Series.

For those who’ve run the event in the past, there will be a few noticeable changes in store due to the current Covid-19 pandemic:

• Location Change: The race will return to its roots, beginning and ending in front of the Pavilion at Score Park.
• Touch-free check in: Packet pick up will take place in a designated area, with packets laid out in alphabetical order. Runners will be able to grab their own packet prior to their run.
• NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION: All race registrations must take place prior to the day of the event.
• Rolling start: To adhere to social distancing guidelines, runners will begin their race staggered over the course of an hour. This will help ensure runner safety along the course.

This plan has been presented to Story County Public Health, and has been given their approval.

All money raised will be donated to local veterans causes.


Schedule of Events:
7:00-7:30: Packet Pick Up begins
7:30-8:30: Rolling Race Start

5K participants will receive a t-shirt and a custom finishers medal. 5K Awards for overall and division winners.
