Welcome to the

2020 Devonport Triathlon State Series SPRINT



This event is located at the Devonport Surf Club on Tasmania's North West Coast. It is being hosted by the Cradle Coast Triathon Club in conjunction with Cradle Coast Sports & Events weekend festival of Triathlon.
The event is open to members of the general public.

The 750m Swim is a beach start in front of the Surf Club, with the 20km ride on a looped circuit on closed road.
The 5km run consists of 1.25km laps on a flat designated running course.
This is a great course with a great atmosphere!

We have $800 of prize money up for grabs plus medals for our first place age group winners.
Age Groups: 14-19, 20-39, 40+ years male and female and first team.

The swim: water temperature varies from 15-21'C and can be calm to choppy conditions.
The bike: entrants are advised to have their bikes serviced prior to the event and be self sufficient if a break down should occur. Please pull off course and flag a race marshal if you have bike difficulties.

Parking: There is ample parking available around the Bluff. Give yourself enough time to park and walk to the check in tent as there are multiple road closures in place.
Toilets and showers are on site.
Only cross the road where Marshals direct as events may still be in progress.

Check in: At 0945. The event starts at 1045.
Helmets will be inspected prior to transition check in. As there are races running prior to your event, you may be asked to wait until transition is cleared prior to check in. Please listen to the race director for any change in timing that may occur.

Prizes: will be awarded directly after the event when the results are collated.
