Register for Marathon K4 Open Day, 2nd Feb Champion Lakes

Organisational Detail:
This event will take place as the last event on State Sprint Championships program as a combined Marathon/Sprints event. [on the Sunday morning, the Sprints will have a short schedule, first thing, consisting mainly of K4 500] This Marathon K4 Open Day will be known, in the Sprint schedule as LD [Long Distance] K4. Entries from Marathon will be passed through to the Sprint organisers who will already have entrants from Sprint. The Start Lists will be based on a combination of Sprint and Marathon entrants

If you are entering the sprints, you can enter the K4 in the Sprint registration and you will not need to enter in this Marathon registration

Competition Structure:

Initially: 2 x 4k Heats [ Heats seeded according to ranked ability]

Followed by: A & B Finals populated by crews from the first two races ranked according to time. Note: Some paddlers who have completed in the overall Sprint schedule may not wish to continue at this stage

Race Day Schedule:

Morning of Sunday 2nd Feb after K4 500 Sprint [expect 09.30 start]

Individual Registration:
Each paddler to register separately

Entry Fees:
Paddlers not entering Sprint States and only coming to the Marathon K4 Open Day:
Normal Marathon Fees
Paddlers entering Sprint States as well as Marathon K4 Open Day: K4 races will be included in Sprint entry fee.

Club Uniform:
Come as club representatives in club uniform if possible. If there are sufficient club teams, there will be a club award.

Team Name:
Every Crew to decide on a Team Name to assist in preparing Start Lists and Timing Equipment. Include Club name if you are coming in Club uniform
