What is the Plain Valley Nordic Team?
PVNT is a ski team for youth, sponsored by Plain Hardware, Plain Valley Nordic Trails, Plain Valley Adventure Women, and our Plain community. Our focus is to have fun while learning to cross country ski. We teach for all skill levels, both classic skiing and skate skiing techniques. Skiers have the opportunity to race locally, regionally and nationally.
PVNT Skiers invited to join 2019-20 ADT: Adyson Bradburn, Jaxon Coble, Kaya Coble, Heather Doughtery, Jackson Douglas, Karlyn Kocher, Jillian McKnight, Maria Norby, Ayla Pate, Forest Saugen, Kyler Saugen, Olaf Saugen, Jed Stay, Olivia Stay, Kayla Stevens, Elsa Swart, Ezra Swart, Elliot Tiegel, Lij Walker, Tarin Worden.
What is included in a Team Membership?
Skate and classic skis, boots and poles.
Team jacket for the season.
Team race suit for SRT and most ADT.
Plain Valley Nordic Trails Season Pass.
Transportation to practices and races.
JNQ Race entry, lodging, food and transportation costs covered.
Where will the ski team practice?
The team will ski primarily on the Plain Valley Nordic Trails, across the road from Plain Hardware.
Who can join the ADT team?
Children born in 2013 - 2000 who have demonstrated they are ready for the next step in their training and have been invited from the Devo Team.
When are practices?
The ADT will practice, December 5th - February 29th, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:30 pm to 5:15 pm.
At Plain Hardware, we will provide an after school snack
and gear up the skiers for fun! We will ski until 5:00 pm and serve
hot cocoa to warm up. The skiers will be ready for pick-up at 5:15 pm
from Plain Hardware.
